Terms & Agreements

By booking, purchasing, or participating in any class, session, workshop, clinic, membership, retreat, or digital offering through Surf City Flow, you agree to the following Terms & Agreements.
1. Nature of Services
Surf City Flow provides movement-based, educational, and wellness experiences, which may include:
Yoga and movement classes
Assisted stretching and BodyMind sessions
Posture screenings and educational clinics
Workshops, retreats, and group experiences
Coaching, mindfulness, and self-care education
These services are not medical care, not massage therapy, not physical therapy, and not mental health treatment under North Carolina law.
No diagnosis, prescription, or medical outcome is provided or implied.
2. Participant Responsibility
By participating, you acknowledge that you:
Are physically and mentally able to participate
Understand participation is voluntary
Will listen to your body and honor your limits
May modify, pause, or stop participation at any time
Will communicate discomfort or request support as needed
Surf City Flow does not require medical clearance. You participate at your own discretion.
3. Assumption of Risk
You understand that physical movement and wellness practices involve inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strain, fatigue, or emotional release.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release Surf City Flow, its owners, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from liability to the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law.
4. Consent & Optional Hands-On Guidance
Some offerings may include optional, consent-based physical guidance, such as assisted stretching, postural support, or light hands-on cueing.
Touch is never required
Consent is ongoing and may be withdrawn at any time
You may decline hands-on support without explanation
Surf City Flow practices trauma-informed, consent-centered facilitation.
5. Posture Screenings & Educational Clinics
Posture screenings and clinics are educational and observational only.
They:
Do not diagnose conditions
Do not treat injuries
Do not replace medical or therapeutic evaluations
Insights shared are for general awareness and education purposes only.
6. Payments, Purchases & Refunds
All sales are final.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Classes and class packs
Memberships
Workshops, clinics, and events
Private sessions
Retreats
Digital products and online programs
No refunds or exchanges are provided.
7. Gift Certificates & Account Credits
Gift certificates and account credits are non-refundable
They have no cash value
Expiration dates apply
Lost, forgotten, or unused certificates or credits cannot be replaced
8. Memberships & Packages
Memberships and class packs are non-transferable
Expiration dates apply
Unused sessions do not roll over unless explicitly stated
Failure to attend or use services does not entitle the client to a refund
Automatic billing terms are disclosed at the time of purchase.
9. Cancellations & No-Shows
Classes and sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session or class credit
Specialty events, clinics, or retreats may have separate cancellation policies
10. Right to Refuse Service
Surf City Flow reserves the right to refuse service or terminate participation at any time for:
Violation of studio policies
Unsafe behavior
Boundary violations
Disruptive or inappropriate conduct
No refunds will be issued in these cases.
11. Personal Property
Surf City Flow is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
12. Media & Photography
Photos or videos may be taken during classes or events for educational or promotional purposes.
You may opt out at any time by notifying the instructor or facilitator.
Parental consent is required for minors.
13. Non-Discrimination
Surf City Flow welcomes all and does not discriminate based on race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or background.
14. Severability
If any portion of these Terms & Agreements is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Agreements shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Acknowledgment
By booking, purchasing, or participating in any offering through Surf City Flow, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Agreements.
